Job description
This federal agency is looking to implement a number of initiatives to improve the cyber security posture of the sector.
12 months contract renewable
Ability to obtain baseline is a must

Responsibilities
- Development of a cyber security policy and strategy for uplifting the security of the VET data and sets the priorities for the cyber project.
- Co-ordinate independent assessments and uplift of security documentation for Commonwealth and Nationally managed VET systems and data.
- Delivery of guidelines, training, and support for the sector to self-assess and self-manage improvements to the cyber security posture of individual organisation data holdings.
Skills
- 3+ years’ experience successfully delivering complex cyber security projects/programs.
- Demonstrated experience working on large-scale government ICT and/or complex data system programs.
- Excellent problem solving, and analytical thinking capability, including the ability to quickly adjust to changes in program priorities and direction.
- Proven ability to achieve quality outcomes in a high tempo environment.
- A demonstrated high standard of written and verbal communication skills, including strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
- PRINCE2, Agile or other Project Management Certification (desirable but not mandatory).
- Cyber security related qualifications or certifications (desirable but not mandatory).
