 The Company:

A 3 Partner accounting firm in Parramatta situated closely to public transport who have a new opening for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. They are a firm with a relaxed, welcoming and inclusive working environment and it's somewhere you will be genuinely be supported throughout your new journey.  You will be supported in your new role by the leadership team and attend regular internal and external training sessions.

In your new role, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior staff members and manage your own client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • In your role as a Business Services Senior, you will be working closely with the Directors of the firm and other managers well as providing guidance to juniors in your team;
  • You will manage your own portfolio of clients made up of a mix of HNWI’s and SME’s
  • Meeting with clients on a regular basis, monitoring and maintaining relationships; 
  • Structuring for tax effectiveness and asset protection; 
  • Ensuring complex accounting matters are researched and addressed; 
  • Assist with the development of junior staff;   

 

About You:

 

  • 3 + years experience in a similar role
  • Studying towards CA/CPA Qualification (Qualified or Part Qualified)
  • Experience mentoring junior staff members
  • Strong technical knowledge & compliance knowledge
