Job Title: Call Centre Operator
  • Location: Nowra, NSW
  • Employment Type: 5 Month Contract
  • Work Schedule: 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week
  • Pay Rate: $44.26 per hour + super
About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Call Centre Operator. In this role, you will handle phone enquiries, provide first-level assistance and perform a variety of administrative support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to phone enquiries from the public, offering first-level assistance and escalating complex matters to the appropriate team or external agency.
  • Perform a range of administrative tasks, including assessment, registration and drafting routine correspondence.
  • Ensure all correspondence, briefings and materials are accurately recorded and processed in departmental systems.
Key Challenges

  • Managing competing work demands and priorities while maintaining quality support and meeting deadlines.
  • Staying up to date on the portfolio area's initiatives, emerging issues, and key projects to provide effective support.
  • Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail to ensure all work is properly registered, distributed, and followed up in a timely manner.
