1 x Community Impact Facilitator- 26th August – December 18th 2024
- Part time hours – 25 - 30 hours per week
- Remote but must be able to travel across Perth
- $42 per hour + super
Our client is seeking a Community Impact Facilitator to join their team for a temporary contract on a part time basis working up to 30 hours per week. Our client is looking for an individual to be able to deliver the 'Financial Capability' program to primary and high schools in the Perth region. As the Facilitator you will empower students by providing education, resources, and support related to financial literacy and management.
The facilitator is not required to be in the office but to travel to Perth schools, 5 days a week. The successful candidate will hold a valid driver’s license and have access to their own car with compulsory third-party insurance.
The program is aimed at equipping young people with basic money management skills and financial knowledge to set them up for their futures. In this role facilitators will be helping students navigate healthy conversations about money, set goals for themselves and understand their rights as young employees.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality and engaging face to face financial literacy workshops to upper primary and secondary school-aged students
- Deliver virtual workshops to upper primary and secondary school-aged students.
- Facilitate group discussions, interactive activities, and hands-on exercises to engage participants in learning.
- Build and maintain successful relationships with schools to ensure continued partnerships, whilst collecting valuable teacher feedback
- Collect and maintain accurate records of program participation, outcomes, and feedback.
- Achieve KPIs related to workshop quality
- Act as an outstanding brand ambassador for our client.
Skills and experience:
- Desire to make a positive impact in the community.
- A self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work independently and remotely.
- Knowledge and understanding of Financial Capability - personal finance concepts, including budgeting, credit, savings, and debt management.
- Previous experience in presenting, teaching, educating or performing; ideally to school age groups (although this isn’t essential).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport
- Ability to engage, inspire and motivate school-aged audiences through face-to-face and digital mediums.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Police check will be required
- Administration skills with the ability to follow processes.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Experience using Powerpoint/Zoom/Teams
