Our client is a leading construction organisation known for its commitment to excellence and innovation. We are seeking a motivated and proactive Contracts Administrator to join their team and support the successful delivery of their current projects. In this role you will be reporting directly to the commercial contract manager and have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills, and grow your career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial and Contractual Strategy Support: Assist in implementing the project’s commercial and contractual strategies to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  • Financial Reporting: Collate, review, and present financial reports, providing clear insights into project performance.
  • Control Management: Assist in establishing and maintaining essential controls for effective Head Contract management, including the variation register.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to Reliance Guidelines and other relevant policies.
  • Variation Management: Manage and document contract variations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyse financial reports, conduct variance and trend analysis, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Cost Reporting and Forecasting: Contribute to cost reporting and forecasting to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Subcontract Administration: Ensure all subcontractors are compliant with subcontract terms in conjunction with project team.
About you:
  • Degree in relevant discipline is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a contracts administration role within the industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Office, contract management systems).
  • A self-starter who can hit the ground running and take initiative in all tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong ability to manage and analyse complex data.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including the Commercial Contracts Manager and project teams.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
