Job description
Charterhouse is working in partnership with a law firm in Hervey Bay in their search for a qualified and experienced conveyancer.About the role:
- Deliver conveyancing across Hervey Bay and the surrounding region
- Work in a well established, mutli-discipline law firm as the sole conveyancer
- Full time permanent
- Commencing late January or early February 2025
- Qualifications in conveyancing
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Manage residential and commercial property conveyancing files from start to settlement.
- Prepare and review contracts, transfer documents, and settlement statements.
- Conduct title searches and other property-related searches to identify potential issues.
- Liaise with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions.
- Calculate settlement figures and adjustments for rates, water, and other expenses.
- Facilitate settlements through online platforms
- Ensure compliance with Queensland conveyancing laws, including the Property Law Act and Titles Registry requirements.
- Provide exceptional client service by keeping clients informed and addressing their concerns promptly.
