We are seeking an experienced and proactive People and Culture Business Partner to join our team. Reporting to the Group People and Culture Manager. Your responsibilities will include talent management, employee relations, HR reporting, and more.

This is a full-time ongoing role, working Monday – Friday. The company offers hybrid work options, the team generally go into the office 2-3 days per week.   

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Management: Partner with the People and Culture team to develop and review workforce plans, enhance onboarding and offboarding processes, and support performance reviews to attract and retain top talent.
  • HRIS and Employee Lifecycle: Oversee the administration of employee lifecycle processes, including contracts, onboarding, and compliance, while continuously improving system functionality.
  • Employee and Industrial Relations: Support managers in performance leadership, case management, and employee relations, ensuring compliance with legislation and policies.
  • Cultural Alignment: Assist in implementing engagement surveys, supporting leaders in integrating culture into business processes, and driving cultural initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Provide expert HR advice on disciplinary matters, investigations, and legislative compliance to protect our brand and workforce.
  • Policy and Procedure: Ensure policies and procedures meet legislative requirements and reflect company values.
  • Change Management: Facilitate change initiatives, providing guidance on project planning and communications.
About You:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related field, or equivalent professional training and industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in business partnering roles and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Sound understanding of employment law and relevant legislation.
  • Proven experience in interpretation and application of Industrial Instruments
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in aged care or health care settings is highly desirable.
