Job description
Charterhouse is currently seeking a Junior Solicitor specializing in Restructuring and Insolvency to join a global law firm based in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in restructuring and insolvency and a strong background in dispute resolution. We are open to considering talented individuals with broader legal experience, including those three years post qualification. - Assist in handling restructuring and insolvency matters
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to insolvency laws and regulations
- Support senior lawyers in dispute resolution cases
- Collaborate with clients and provide high-quality legal advice and solutions
- Contribute to business development initiatives
- 2+ years of experience in restructuring and insolvency (preferred, but will consider strong candidates with broader experience, including from three years post qualification)
- Ideal WAM average of law subjects above 70
- Dispute resolution experience
- Preferably have undertaken the ARITA Advanced Certification course
- Strong client service orientation and business development aptitude
- Excellent technical, drafting, and commercial skills
- Outstanding analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and collaborative approach to work
