Our client is a reputable organisation dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and support. We are seeking a motivated and proactive Medical Secretary to join their team immediately. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to medical professionals, including managing patient appointments, handling correspondence, and maintaining medical records.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and medical staff, ensuring clear and professional communication at all times.
  • Efficiently manage and prioritise a busy schedule of tasks, ensuring all deadlines are met and processes run smoothly.
  • Prepare and process medical documentation, including patient records, billing information, invoicing and other relevant paperwork.
  • Ensure all activities comply with healthcare regulations and confidentiality requirements.
  • Maintain an organised and welcoming office environment, including handling phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
  • Promoting the business and helping with ad hoc marketing duties.
Key Attributes and Skills:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a medical secretary role, experience in a managerial setting would be beneficial.
  • A go-getter who takes initiative and is eager to contribute positively to the team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
  • Proficient use of medical practice software – Shexie Platinum
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Must have a car and a clean driver’s license to support various administrative tasks and travel between 2 sites.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Medical Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a medical setting.
  • Proficiency in medical office software and tools.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in medical administration are advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
