About the Company

A NSW government organisation is looking for a Org Design and Change Specialist x 2 to join their team based in Sydney CBD, hybrid 1-2 days a week in the office. This role is paying up to $1066.24 per day + super on an 2.5 month contract.  This department aims at creating a better place for NSW to live and connecting the community in a more efficient way.


About the Role
  • Develop functional accountabilities for divisions, branches and units. Map current and future state accountabilities to account for any changes.
  • Develop organisational design and structural options aligned to the operating model organisation design principles and characteristics and other relevant parameters.
  • Develop and/or oversee the development of detailed organisational structure charts accounting for position and people in current and future state structure charts. Ensure alignment to organisational workforce data, resolve anomalies, and highlight changes from current to future state.
  • Drive consistency across Divisions and Branches in organisation and role design approach.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships with business leaders and enabling functions to develop fit for purpose and accurate material.
  • Provide oversight, quality assurance and coordination for the preparation of role descriptions, and the job evaluation process to ensure compliance and consistency. Ensure governance and alignment across the organisation of organisational design, mapping to job families and creation of role capabilities.

Skills & Experience
  • Previous Org design experience in a large complex organistation
  • Change management experience
  • NSW government experience is desirable
  • Ability to multitask and work to timeframes
  • Excellent communication skills
