About the role
The Procurement Coordinator will play a critical role in overseeing the procurement and inventory management of manufactured products. This position requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual with experience in Procurement ideally within the Food Manufacturing, supply chain management, and procurement excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tracking issues to report
- Manage shelf life of ingredients and request extension if required
- Order entry, resolving workflow issues
- Coordinating the procurement process for all manufactured related materials, including ingredients, packaging, and other supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and generate regular reports
- Liaising with various teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve any supply-related issues.
- Proven experience (2 + years) in procurement or supply chain management within the food manufacturing industry, ideally.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes & inventory management
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & SA
