- Contract Role - Until Sept 1st (Potential to extend)
- $800 - $1045 p/d + Super (Depending on Experience)

- 38 hours per week

The manager commercials will lead the development, maintenance, and execution of the myWorkZone commercial / procurement plan. Leveraging commercial, procurement and project management experience, the role will work closely with the Director Governance and Commercials, functional, technical and change teams, to identify, engage and manage suppliers to facilitate the overall delivery of myWorkZone's commercial / procurement plan.
Accountabilities include:
- Determine supply needs and researching potential suppliers with stakeholders.
- Assist the Director Governance for any go to market procurement activities.
- Act as a key liaison and communicate pricing and performance needs to vendors and suppliers.
- Source suppliers and draft required commercial / procurement documentation and prepare cost-benefit analysis reporting of suppliers.
- Assist in the negotiation of procurement contracts with selected vendors and suppliers.
- Keep abreast of vendor and supplier-related activities across myWorkZone.
- Identify and report supplier progress delivery issues.
- Work with business representatives to develop and engage suppliers based on procurement requirements.
- Track and monitor supplier performance.
- Commercial / procurement advisory to myWorkZone executives as required
- Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders to understand business requirements,
- Being able to provide a hands approach to managing contracts register and promoting procurement improvements across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Commercial and/or contract management of high value and complex ICT contracts – including managing supplier performance and ensuring value for money.
- Negotiating procurement contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Experience managing multiple contracts and suppliers.
- Experience and/or knowledge of NSW Government procurement systems, policies, processes, and regulations.
- Working with senior stakeholder groups within government and the private sector.
- Communicating technical, commercial, contract, and procurement information to non-technical audience – including experience in preparing documentation for stakeholders.
