Assistant Manager/ Supervisor – Accounting
  • $110-125k package

Are you looking to take your career to the next level with a leadership role within a top 20 international mid-tier accounting firm? This is an exciting and confidential opportunity for an Assistant Manager position in the Sydney office.

  • Work with businesses across various industries, including medical, legal, mining, tech, and high-net-worth individuals and superfunds.

The Role: As an Assistant Manager, you will be working directly with one of the leading Partners with the biggest portfolio. You will play a key role in overseeing a structured team that includes a Heavy Senior, Heavy Intermediate, Intermediate, and a Bookkeeper.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of clients including some internationals with HQ in other countries. 

  • Oversee cross-border financial reporting and compliance.

  • Assist with provide business advisory and strategic development insights.

  • Manage and mentor team members, ensuring high performance and professional growth.

  • Engage in AI-driven process enhancements and efficiencies.

We're looking for:
  • CPA/CA qualified professional with strong accounting experience.

  • Proven ability to manage complex client portfolios.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

  • Experience with international reporting and cross-border taxation is highly regarded.

  • A proactive and strategic mindset with an interest in technology-driven improvements.

  • Full working rights in Australia - PR or Australian Citzenship
