Charterhouse is currently seeking an Associate for a role in a top tier firm based in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 -4 PQE years of experience in transactional practice with experience across M&A, energy, resources and infrastructure.This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal practitioner to join a growing transactional group in one of the leading gobal law firms. Expect work to include private M&A, renewables, energy, hydrogen, waste to energy, resource and oil and gas projects and transactions.

- 2-4 years of experience in corporate transactions and commercial arrangements (such as M&A or project works);
- Australian Qualified lawyer with relevant experience;
- Relevant energy and renewables transactions experience in a top tier or leading international firm preferred;
- Excellent analytical and research skills and attention to detail;
- A strong academic background
- Strong technical and drafting skills;
- Effective written and verbal communications skills;
- Strong commitment to client service, well-developed relationship management ability and ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients - you will play a role in supporting and actively developing our relationships with clients.
