As we approach World Blood Donor Day on June 14, 2021 our Charterhouse teams in Melbourne and Sydney have donated to Lifeblood.
Lifeblood is the arm of the Australia Red Cross that facilitates blood donations across the country. They are part of the international Red Cross and Red Crescent community – the world’s oldest humanitarian organisation – and they subscribe fully to its humanitarian principles.
In the last year more than 1.5 million blood donations have been made in Australia. And to say it saves lives is an understatement. One in 3 people you know if your lifetime will need a blood donation. It's funny to think that yours could be the one to save a life.
Charterhouse Australia takes the wellbeing of its team members seriously. However it doesn't jus stop there:
