Peter Bateson

Peter is a career recruiter who started in recruitment in 2001 following the completion of his Bachelors degree in International Business Management.
Having initially helped to set up the Dutch market within the international division of one of the Big 4 UK recruitment agencies, based in London, Peter moved to a global Recruitment Consultancy in Sydney, Australia in 2004.

Over the next 15 years at, Peter progressed from Senior Consultant to Director of IT, growing the IT division from 3 to 30 across NSW before becoming Director of their Chatswood office.

In 2019 Peter joined a boutique Tech recruitment agency where he was responsible for establishing their Sydney office which he subsequently grew from 1 employee to 13 before joining Charterhouse Partnership in 2024.

At Charterhouse Partnership, Peter holds the title of Director - IT, NSW and manages a team who specialise in each of the major technical verticals.
