Job description

Our client is an established SME non-bank lending business specialising in consumer lending. Due to overwhelming success and planned expansion, they are looking to grow their team. You will be responsible for developing new and existing broker & aggregator networks, and generating revenue through these channels.

Responsibilities:
  • Business development; lead generation, develop broker & aggregator networks
  • Book meetings, run discovery sessions, deliver value proposition
  • Follow up on leads, objection handle and close out deals
  • Identify opportunities to up and cross-sell
  • Maintain healthy sales pipeline of current and future business
  • Inbound & outbound sales depending on pipeline status
  • Inbound; respond to incoming interest from partners & prospects
Requirements:
  • Proven commercial business development experience
  • Non-bank lending industry experience
  • Consumer lending experience (highly desirable)
  • Experience across the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Experience with business development tools (Apollo, Lusha, Mailchimp, etc)
  • Experience working with channel partners to generate leads & referrals
Non-technical requirements:
  • Proactive sales mentality, you aren't afraid of BD/outbound sales
  • Methodical & strategic BD/sales approach
  • Strong understanding of how to run an efficient sales process
  • Focused on long term relationships
  • Understand what needs to be done based on pipeline status
