Job description
3-month Customer Service Officer opportunity to work for a large council in the Eastern suburbs | January the 13th Start- Previous contact centre experience essential
- Represent a Local Government authority providing excellent service to members of the community
- January the 13th Start | 3-month temporary opportunity |Full time hours | To be considered for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
You will be responsible for:
- Providing accurate and timely information to members of the public via telephone and email
- Supporting and maintaining a positive image of the Council to members of the public through professional standards of personal presentation and through the provision of services/advice in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Delivering service to a high-volume call centre while contributing to the Key Performance Indicators required.
- Experience in both face-to-face and high-volume telephone customer services
- Demonstrated experience within a call centre environment including experience in using a customer management or request tracking application.
- Experience working in an administrative environment with a strong customer and team focus
- Great communication skills, written and verbal
- Language other than English will be an advantage
- Positive and proactive attitude towards work
- To be considered for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Grow your Local Government knowledge and understanding.
- Work with a Community based organisation and help drive and deliver change.
