About the company:

Our client a Local Government author based in the South East are seeking a proactive and skilled HR Advisor to join their dynamic People and Strategy team. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with people leaders, providing high-quality HR advice and support across a range of functions.

The role is to start ASAP and is initially contracted for 3 months and could lead to longer term opportunities. This is a full-time role, working Monday – Friday. The company offers flexible work options, the team generally work 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice on employee relations, recruitment, and performance management.
  • Support people leaders with data-driven insights and practical solutions to foster a positive work environment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they meet organizational needs.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to drive strategic goals and enhance workplace culture.
Qualifications and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Solid experience in providing generalist HR support, including interpretation of Enterprise Agreements and relevant legislation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage confidential situations with empathy.
