  • Contract: Mon 12 May – Mon 23 June | 38 hrs/week or 4 days part-time

About the company:

Our client, a local government organisation based just outside the CBD is seeking an experienced HR & Talent Advisor to join their People & Culture team on a short-term basis. We are looking for someone with generalist HR experience and have solid PageUp experience.

The role is to start on Monday 12th May and is contracted until 23rd June. The role is ideally full-time, working Monday – Friday but 4 days a week would be considered for the right person. The local government operates on a hybrid model, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Talent Business Partner, you will:

  • Partner with leaders to offer practical advice on talent acquisition and workforce planning
  • Provide end-to-end recruitment support across various departments
  • Create engaging job ads and manage campaigns in PageUp
  • Contribute to executive reporting, recruitment data analysis, and policy improvement
  • Support onboarding and ensure data accuracy across systems
About You

  • Previous experience in a HR, or Talent Advisor role (ideally in local government or complex environments)
  • Strong working knowledge of PageUp (essential)
  • Comfortable supporting all levels of roles – from entry-level to executive
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven
  • Confident communicator and trusted advisor to stakeholders
