Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure network solutions aligned with organisational goals and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network and WLAN systems into existing infrastructure, ensuring smooth and reliable performance.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce network security policies, including firewall configurations and access controls, to protect organisational data and resources.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and IT personnel on network technologies, best practices, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and support network-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and expansions, to enhance business continuity and scalability.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement within the network environment to boost efficiency and reduce operational overhead.

Required Experience

  • Understanding of Networking principles and practical application
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, including LAN protocols, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, TCP/IP, NAT, and Wireless (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Aruba)
  • Skills with routing and switching technology as well as working knowledge in protocol analysis. Includes ability to configure, deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot.
  • Experience with analysis and implementation of Routing, Switching, and WLAN requests.
  • Experience with diagnosis and troubleshooting LAN and WLAN issues.
  • Skills in innplementing and troubleshooting wireless networks.
  • Skills with diagnosis and troubleshooting LAN and WLAN issues.
  • Familiarity with deployments techniques and tools.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring tools for performance analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in similar roles including TCP/IP routing and switching, WLAN, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, Firewalls, Wireshark, and network topologies.
  • Proven ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks through to successful delivery.
  • Current driver's licence
