Job description

They operate on a national scale, with the key locations being Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. This role being based in Sydney’s CBD, they are close to public transport and the CBD’s bars and restaurants.
About the Role
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Develop and manage the annual budget process
- Perform month-end and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Develop and maintain robust internal control systems
- Manage tax reporting and compliance
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions
- Several years experience in working in a top tier practice firm and at least 12 month commercial experience
- Motivated self starter
- Extensive tax and technical accounting experience
- Relevant university degree or finance qualification (CA/CPA/ACA)
