Senior Payroll Officer | Hills District, Sydney | Up To $120k + SuperAre you a skilled Senior Payroll Officer with extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing? We are looking for a payroll professional with excellent attention to detail and strong MicrOpay experience to join a large distribution company in Sydney's hills district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end employee payroll according to relevant awards and EBAs.
- Maintain accurate payroll transactions, superannuation, tax, and deductions.
- Perform payroll reconciliations to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll.
- Respond to payroll queries related to payroll tax and entitlements.
- Assist with payroll reporting, audits and process improvement.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to improve payroll processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years previous experience as a Payroll Officer.
- Strong working knowledge of MicrOpay, ideally within the last 2 years.
- Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation, taxation, and superannuation.
- Experience interpreting multiple awards and enterprise agreements.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
