About the Opportunity:
We are partnering with several organisations across different industries looking for experienced Payroll Officers to manage end-to-end payroll processes, maintain compliance, and support employees with payroll inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end employee payroll according to relevant awards, agreements, and company procedure.
- Maintain accurate payroll transactions, superannuation, tax, and deductions.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records.
- Respond to payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to improve payroll processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-3 years previous experience as a Payroll Officer.
- Strong working knowledge of payroll systems (Chris21, ADP, Micropay, etc.).
- Understanding of Australian payroll legislation, taxation, and superannuation.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
