About the Firm

As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented and motivated SMSF Senior Accountant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of SMSF Portfolios: Oversee a diverse portfolio of Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) for our clients, ensuring compliance and optimal performance.
- Compliance and Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation for SMSFs.
- Client Advisory: Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on SMSF-related matters, including investment strategies, tax planning, and regulatory changes.
- Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and ensure timely completion.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide high-quality services to our clients.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CA qualification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SMSF accounting within a public practice environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SMSF administration software (e.g., BGL Simple Fund, Class Super) and advanced knowledge of SMSF regulations and compliance requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Client-Focused: A proactive and client-centric approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
