Senior Accountant – Business Services (Gordon)

This opportunity supports the firm's Sydney team based at their Gordon office, conveniently located near the train station and local parking.

Role Overview


You will manage a portfolio of clients, including high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), SMEs, and multi-entity groups. Reporting to the Partner, you will work directly with clients to meet their accounting and taxation needs, while collaborating with other specialists across the business, including wealth management, SMSF, and audit teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a client portfolio, ensuring all deadlines are met, with a focus on both compliance and advisory work.
  • Train and mentor junior staff.
  • Collaborate with clients on business advisory needs such as business restructuring, tax planning, and cash flow management.
  • Identify business development opportunities and establish referral networks.
Key Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in public practice.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and part/full CA/CPA qualification.
  • Strong communication skills.
