Job description

Role objective
The main objective of this role is to plan, develop and deliver system architecture; guide & advise to ensure the successfully built, operation and maintenance of products or platforms in alignment to State-wide Network Services automation roadmaps.
This position requires advanced technical knowledge of AWS public cloud infrastructure and services deployed within the network.
Key accountabilities
- Superior experience in leading the cloud-native solutions, design, build and operations of serverless applications in a shared services environment, including relevant qualifications or the equivalent experience.
- Develop, maintain and recommend improvement to products in DC Platform and Security area based on best practices
- Be a technical SME in product development life cycle including sprint development and delivery, Customer-Ready product increment and Incremental Product release.
- Drive the development and implementation of coding and testing standards, to improve security, functionality, supportability and efficiency.
Key knowledge and experience
- Firewall (Palo Alto / Fortinet) - Advanced understanding and hands on experience with firewall technologies
- DevOps - Superior experience with leading modern ICT Delivery and Operational practices (DevOps), including associated operating methodologies (such as Agile).
- Cloud- Native solutions - Proficiency in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation to automate and manage infrastructure deployments
- Scripting - Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automating network-related tasks, with experience in network configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
