Job description
This Project Manager role is an integral part of the Digital Initiative Team with our local council client.Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables
- Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies
- Identify and assign project roles and team members
- Lead kick-off and status meetings
- Monitor project progress, track milestones and manage changes to scope of timeline
- Manage budget, expenses and resource utilisation
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Coordinate and oversee testing, quality assurance, and deployment
- Develop and craft business cases
Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications within Information Technology
- Strong knowledge of Jira and Confluence
- Experience with local government is an advantage
- Prior experience with digital transformation projects
- Proven ability to concurrently manage multiple projects on time, to budget, and to customer satisfaction within a structured reporting framework
On offer:
- Initial 3-month contract
- Up to $1,000 daily rate
- Northern suburbs location
- 4 days per week in office
