The Role
The UX Designer will play a pivotal role in shaping the modernisation of the an existing system, streamlining existing processes to align with the organisation’s digital transformation objectives.
In this role, you'll be part of an agile, cross-functional team, collaborating with service designers, UX/UI designers, product owners, change managers, project managers, business analysts, and developers. The UX Designer will oversee UX deliverables and provide direction to the UX Analyst as needed.
The ideal candidate for this role should be a self-starter with a curious, collaborative, and analytical mindset, capable of helping the team deliver excellent outcomes for both users and project stakeholders.
The UX Designer will be responsible for creating detailed Figma prototypes and UX/UI designs, while maintaining ongoing communication with senior stakeholders to present research findings and proposed solutions.
Experience Required
- At least two years of experience as a UX Designer in large, complex environments with a strong UX background.
- A minimum of two years creating conceptual UX designs using Figma for prototyping purposes.
- Comfortable working hands-on with Front-End developers and within an agile delivery team.
- Tertiary qualifications and/or significant relevant experience in digital design, design research, or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders and team members.
- Strong facilitation and collaboration abilities.
- Experience working in complex, highly regulated, and diverse organisations.
