- Full time, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

About the Company
Our client, a large NSW Government Agency is seeking a Registry Officer for a temporary contract to provide clerical, administrative and customer service support to the Tribunal. This role offers a friendly and supportive working environment located in Wollongong.
The role of a Registry Officer is to provide clerical, administrative and customer service support to the Tribunal. To succeed as a Registry Officer, you:
- Are motivated and self-drive to provide excellent customer service in Tribunal environment
- Have the demonstrated ability to undertake a range of administrative support services relating to the work of the Tribunal, including data entry, preparing correspondence, and maintaining electronic and file records
- Have a strong work ethic with a can-do attitude to work to tight deadlines across multiple tasks
Duties within the role will include but not limited to:
- Provide a high standard of clerical, administrative and customer service support to the Tribunal
- Answering simple phone enquiries
- Data entry
- Handling and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
- Provide a range of administrative and clerical support services, including printing, filing, scanning and emailing documents
- Input all relevant data in the tribunals case management system and create, store, retrieve and archive tribunal files
- Seek guidance from, and escalate more complex matters to the Senior Registry Officer when required
- Other administrative duties as required
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in administration or office based customer service
- Are motivated and self-driven to provide excellent customer service in Tribunal environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience in a legal or Government envrionment is beneficial but not essential
