Job description

Our client is an established global technology business based in Sydney. They are looking to hire a Sales Director to join, take full ownership of the sales & marketing function, lead the go to market strategy and drive new business growth. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned Sales Director to join and make a huge impact in the business' next phase. This role is 20% hands-on sales with the rest of your responsibilities focused on leadership, training/mentoring, strategic planning, market research, networking events, etc.

Requirements:
  • Proven commercial sales leadership and management experience
  • Proven track record achieving sales targets
  • Proven experience growing and expanding sales teams
  • B2B, enterprise & mid-market sales experience
  • Creating and maintaining strong team morale
  • Strong internal & external stakeholder management skills
  • Experience developing strong go to market strategies
  • Experience managing a large sales function (20+ team)
  • Large corporate enterprise working environment
  • Guiding marketing teams to generate content, leads & events
Highly Desirable:
  • Experience leading or managing marketing teams
  • Experience working in a large or global enterprise corporate
  • Experience working within a heavily regulated or strict compliance industry
  • Professional services or consulting industry experience
Non-technical requirements:
  • Strong communication skills, able to speak with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrate diplomacy in difficult situations
