Job description
- Senior AWS Developer
- Location - WFH / Parramatta
- Length - 6 Months initially
- Rate - up to $1050 per day + super
The Role
Our client is looking for a senior developer with (100%) hands-on delivery within the squad. The role will be accountable for a successful delivery of the data and grants calculations components within the stipulated enterprise architecture and project scope. The role is a hands-on role with demonstrated experience with the key technologies including but not limited to develop, manage, and deploy SQL MDX/DAX, PowerShell, C#, and Python source code using Azure DevOps and Azure Synapse Analytics. Also, delivery and technical leadership skills around the AWS components of AuroraDb PostgreSQL, Lambda, AWS Glue, developing and implementing integrations using AWS cloud-native services including Amazon API Gateway, AWS SES, AWS Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and RDS. Experience with Salesforce integration is also required.
Key Responsibilities
AWS Platform
- Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions on AWS platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design integration solutions that align with business objectives.
- Build cloud-native REST and HTTP APIs using services such as Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and AWS messaging services – SNS, SQS, EventBridge.
- Design and develop ETL processes in AWS Glue to migrate data from external sources such as SQL Server, S3, and ORC/Parquet/text files into Aurora/Relational Database.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-structured code in programming languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.JS to create custom integrations and data transformations.
- Write unit and integration tests and perform debugging of solutions to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with testing and other squad teams to ensure the solution meets standards.
MS Azure Platform
- Design, develop and maintain ETL processing for Azure Synapse Analytics (using Azure Data Factory/Synapse Pipelines, Spark Notebooks, SSIS, PolyBase, Stream Analytics).
- Design, develop and maintain ETL processing using AWS Glue to extract data from various sources, transform it to meet business requirements, and load it into target Aurora data sources.
- Integrate AWS Glue with other AWS services like AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Redshift, SQL server, Oracle DB, and more to facilitate seamless data integration across the cloud ecosystem.
- Deploy database changes, code, and scripts through Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines to AWS environment.
- Develop ADF/Synapse Pipelines, Spark notebooks, cubes, and Reports in Microsoft BI tools including Power BI and Azure Analysis Services (Preferable).
- Develop, manage, and deploy SQL, PowerShell, C#, and Python source code using Azure DevOps.
- Conduct and contribute to data validation testing.
Salesforce Integration
- Experience in integrating with Salesforce platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization between systems.
- Design and develop APIs to interface with Salesforce, leveraging REST , SOAP protocols and Salesforce Private connect.
- Implement Salesforce integration best practices, ensuring scalability and maintainability of solutions.
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers to ensure alignment with business processes and data models.
