Senior Manager – Business Services- Work from home options and a great business culture

About the Company
A Top 20 Accounting firm based in the Brisbane CBD. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced and technically astute Senior Manager for their Business Services division.
You will be joining a high performing team who have a family feel about them, have low staff turnover, and a great culture. You’ll be working across a varied client base with turnovers up to $250m+
About the Role
This role will see you working closely with Partners and Directors while also managing a team of experienced Accountants who are high performers.
You’ll work on a varied client base that will include fast-growing start-ups, established and large private clients, as well as some more complex groups.
Fast and clear progression is on offer in this role. This role would be perfect for an experienced Business Services Manager who has hit a glass ceiling in their current position.
Responsibilities
- Manage a client portfolio.
- Manage and develop a team of accountants.
- Review complex financial statements, tax returns, and FBT returns.
- Be prepared to roll your sleeves up and be hands on with some client work when required.
- Manage workflow, WIP and billing.
About You
- CA or CPA Qualified
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong tax technical skills
- At least 6 years’ experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm
- And 2 years management experience
