Our client a local government authority in the south east is looking for a training and implementation officer to join their people and culture team. This is a full-time role, working Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm.
This role responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a comprehensive training program to support the One Council initiative. This role will ensure that training aligns with the organisation’s strategic objectives, incorporates best practices, and meets the needs of diverse stakeholders across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training program to support the OneCouncil initiative, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Utilize the ADDIE model to design, deliver, and evaluate training content.
- Facilitate engaging training sessions using a mix of e-learning, classroom, and virtual methods.
- Conduct "Train the Trainer" sessions to empower subject matter experts across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with project and change management teams to support seamless program adoption.
- Gather and analyze feedback to continuously improve training effectiveness.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent.
- Proven track record in delivering training for IT transformation projects, such as ERP or CRM implementations.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities. Experience in government or public sector change management is a plus.
- National Criminal History Check & Working with Children Check.
