Job description
3-month Business Support Officer opportunity to work for a large Council in the Western suburbs- Previous administration experience essential | Experience with TechOne will be considered an advantage.
- Represent a Local Government authority providing excellent service to members of the community
- Own transport required | 3-month temp opportunity
You will be responsible for:
- Manage and action a high volume of service requests.
- Respond to queries from customer service and residents in a timely manner.
- Support the team in operational processes and communication.
- Providing accurate and timely information to members of the public via telephone and email, focusing on data-related inquiries.
- Supporting the Council's positive image by delivering services and advice in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Experience in an operational environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to develop visually appealing documents and templates that are clear, easy to read, and compliant with legislative and corporate standards.
- Proficient in formatting correspondence and Council documents (e.g., reports) in accordance with the corporate style guide.
- Experience in inputting and maintaining accurate information in Council databases in a timely manner.
- Skill in ensuring the accuracy of documents and templates to align with corporate style requirements.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Grow your Local Government knowledge and understanding.
- Work with a Community based organisation and help drive and deliver change.
