Finance Manager- $110,000-$125,000 + Super
- Exciting opportunity in well established accounting practice
- Client facing role
This business helps small to medium sized companies run smoothly and more efficiently. Offering advice and bookkeeping solutions that help increase revenue, control costs and promote business growth. Based out of a business park in Deakin, Canberra it is well located for residents of ACT with parking available.
About the Role
Manage and grow client relationships by ensuring they are being maintained and supported appropriately.
Duties
- Promote the business and its suite of products & services
- Maintain & add value to client accounts by maintaining relationships with a portfolio of clients and key personnel
- Review tasks processed by bookkeepers to ensure they are processed to a high standard
- Mentor & assist in the training and development of the team
- Attend meetings with clients to build relationships with existing accounts
- Prepare & analyse financial reports for presentation to clients and their Boards.
- Research new developments in the accounting spectrum
- Regular client meetings
- Maintain complex bookkeeping client including bank reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll administration, reconciliation of accounts.
- One on one client training
- Review tasks processed by bookkeepers to ensure accuracy
- Prepare annual budget & cashflows
- Prepare month end journals
- Grant Acquittals
- Revenue recognition in accordance with AASB 15
- Prepare operating lease schedules in accordance with AASB 16
- Prepare monthly management reports, including analysis
- Conduct business reviews to ensure client satisfaction
- Working with our clients on business improvement initiatives
- Prepare complex STP Finalisation
- Complete audit & EOY preparation
- Client trouble shooting & problem solving
- Liaising with external tax accountants & auditors on accounting and compliance matters on behalf of clients.
