Job description
- Western Suburbs Location | $30 - $35 per hour + super
- 4-week contract | Potential for extension
- Full-time (4 days per week considered for the right person)
Our client, a not-for-profit based in the western suburbs of Melbourne is looking for a HR Officer to join their people and culture team for a 4-week assignment to cover leave. The role is to commence at the end of February and is initially contracted until the end of March, it could lead to longer term opportunities.
This role offers a great opportunity to make an impact in a people-focused organisation while gaining valuable experience in compliance, onboarding, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance checking – ensuring all onboarding processes are completed correctly
- Reviewing police checks & Working with Children (WWC) clearances
- Supporting governance and adherence to policies
- Assisting with HRIS migration
- Providing general administrative support
- Managing the HR inbox and responding to queries
- Experience in an HR support role
- Strong attention to detail and compliance focus
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (preferred)
