Job description
An experienced Payroll Officer min of 5 years’ experience in payroll processing overseeing the payroll function for ANZ through an outsource provider, 12-month contract.- Payroll Officer

Global IT consultancy firm who are dynamic and growing organization committed to a diverse working culture. A detailed-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer is required to join their team and oversee the payroll function for AU and NZ employees through an external payroll service provider.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the outsource payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll
- Prepare and review payroll reports
- Vendor management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
- Manage employee deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure the timely submission of reports.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries.
- Process new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and other employee changes.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams for smooth payroll operations.
- Stay updated with payroll regulations and industry best practices.
- Assist employees with payroll related inquiries.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax laws, and statutory regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Familiarity with timekeeping systems and Microsoft Excel.
