Administrative Support Officer

NSW Government 

  • $35 - $38 per hour + super
  • 3 Month Contract
  • CBD location
  • Full time in office, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

About the Company

Our client, a large NSW Government Agency within the Housing sector is seeking an experienced Administration Support Officer who is are ready to hit the ground running. This role offers a friendly and supportive working environment in a fantastic CBD location.

 
Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing timely information and escalating as needed.
  • Offer administrative support including meeting logistics, office supplies, catering, travel arrangements, calendar management, and document circulation.
  • Assist with large volumes of correspondence and provide admin support during peak times.
  • Perform basic IT troubleshooting and assist with staff/Commissioner inductions.
  • Ensure compliance with administrative processes for accurate and accessible information.
  • Manage building maintenance requests
  • Support Business Manager with financial tasks during peak periods.  
Requirements:

  • Previous administration experience,
  • Government or experience in the Housing sector is highly beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Team player with the ability to take initiative
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced, high volume working environment
