An opportunity has opened for a Cyber Threat Analyst to join an lead innovator in the software and development space. This role is ideal for security professionals with 2–8 years of experience who have a strong focus on insider threat detection and response.
About the Role
As a Cyber Threat Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying, analysing, and mitigating insider threats. Working within a high-calibre security team, you will develop threat detection strategies, monitor for suspicious activity, and support incident response efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Detect, investigate, and respond to insider threats
- Analyse behavioural patterns to identify security risks
- Develop and implement threat detection methodologies
- Work with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Support incident response and threat intelligence initiatives
- 2–8 years of experience in cyber threat analysis, with a focus on insider threats
- Strong understanding of threat detection tools, behavioural analytics, and risk assessment
- Experience in security operations, threat intelligence, or incident response
- Ability to analyse large datasets to detect anomalies and security risks
- Australian Citizenship required (eligibility for security clearance)
