This Australian technology business, are at the forefront of innovation in tender management and large procurement processes. They're a SaaS platform that companies, advisors and governments rely on for securely managing critical information, workflow and collaboration in high-stakes processes like deals, risk, compliance, board governance and procurement. Based in Sydney’s CBD, they are close to public transport and the CBD’s bars and restaurants.
About the role
- Lead the year-end audit process and ensure timely completion.
- Prepare the year-end financial report, including financial statements and disclosures.
- Oversee the preparation of the group consolidation.
- Coordinate reporting to the global parent entity, liaising with the group accounting team.
- Prepare and post accounting journals, with a specific focus on revenue recognition.
- Drive the preparation of the monthly management deck, including the compilation and analysis of key accounting SaaS metrics.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Lead a project to migrate accounting/ERP systems, ensuring integration with the parent company.
- Participate in ad hoc projects related to post-acquisition integration with the parent entity as required.
- Degree-qualified in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CA/CPA/ACCA accreditation is required.
- Deadline-oriented with a proven ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, specifically in IFRS
- Commercial mindset with strong communication skills, able to partner with different departments across the business.
- Experience in accounting for SaaS metrics is highly desirable.
